Religion Fact or Fiction?
I apologize for any confusion I may have caused with my first post. I am not an Atheist. I still believe in God in all his glory, I still consider myself a Christian. I am not, however a follower of the "Church" as established by men of the early centuries after Christ.
If you look at a side by side comparison of the books of the Bible, the so called "Cannon" as dictated by the "Church" and the other Christian religions, Protestant, Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox you will see that they vary GREATLY!! Even between the Catholic and Protestant religions some books are in one Bible and others are excluded from the other. How can a book, that is called "The Holy Bible" what is suppose to be "The Word of God" be different between two religions professing to follow the same God? There it is... there is that pesky little flaw with organized religion... PEOPLE! So I simply include ALL books of the Bible, including those thought to be Heresy because it took power from the Ruling Group of the day.
WHAT!!!! YOU BELIEVE IN HERESY!!!! THEN YOU ARE EVIL!!!!!!
I say BULLSHIT!!!!!
*GASP!*
Did he really just say that? Of course I did.
But an Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent God whispered into the ears of the councils of Carthage and told them what was His word! No He didn't! an Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent God, whispered into the souls of authors for thousands of years. A council of men then decided which authors made them look the best, and should be called "Canon".
Please allow me to explain. Let us look at the role women play in the traditional Church. Most churches take the view as expressed in 1st Timothy 2:12. "I do not permit a woman to teach or assume authority over a man; she must be quiet." For this reason you will never see a female leader in "The Church". No female Pope or Bishop or Cardinal or Priest, or Padre or Pastor, or Minister.
The truth however is this, the earliest christian church, the 12 Disciples themselves, actually turned to a woman for guidance in there most dire hour of need.
This conversation took place the night that Jesus returned to Heaven after his time on earth following the resurrection. But you will never find these passages in any "Canonized" Bible. This chapter of the "True" Bible comes from.... Wait for it..... The Gospel according to Mary!!!!! (Que dramatic music: Dum Dum Duuuum!!)
Yes you read that right Mary wrote a Gospel, Just like Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John! Not Mary Jesus mother, Mary Magdala (What some people say was Jesus Wife) AAAAHHHHHH!!!! BLASPHEMY!!!! HERESY!!!! EVIL SINNER!!!!
Use your brains people...In Jesus day people were usually married by the time they turned 16, the life expectancy was half what is today remember. Jesus ministry didn't even start until he was 30. What was he doing all those years? Sitting there staring at the walls waiting to start? No! he was doing the same thing everyone else was doing, working, playing, laughing, and yes...LOVING! Why don't I know this? Well guess what...It's because a group of men 1700 years or so ago decided that MEN should rule the Church, so they tossed out that Gospel. If you have seen the movie or read the book The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown you have heard all of this before. But what I find fascinating is that not one author of the Gospels wrote down any of Jesus activities accept his flight to Egypt when he was a child and oh yeah he turned water to wine when he was 12 or 13. Hmmmmm.... these were the people that Jesus chose to chronicle his life on earth and not one of them mentioned what he was up to as a teenager or a young adult. An almost 2 decade gap exists in his life story...hmmmmmm? Is this because all four authors found that 20 years boring and decided not to write it? Or is it because somewhere along the line, someone in the early church said, "Oh shit, if we call that cannon then we have to treat women equally because our savior did.
Still skeptical? Ok, let me give you the quintessential example. All four gospels describe the crucifixion of Christ in almost identical wording. They each describe also, how Mary (The Mother of Jesus) and Mary Magdalene, and Salome found Jesus had rose from the dead on the third day. (The basis for the Easter celebration). Here are the excerpts:
Matthew Ch 28
1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
Mark Ch 16
1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
2 And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulcher at the rising of the sun.
3 And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulcher?
4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.
5 And entering into the sepulcher, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were frightened.
Luke Ch 24 (This one refuses to even give Mary credit by name)
1 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulcher, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulcher.
3 And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth,
John Ch 20 (This one goes even further and shows Mary as a coward who runs to the men for help)
1 Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. 2 So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”
Now read this one, can you spot the difference? Oh wait, I'll make it easier and underline it for you.
50 And at dawn upon the Lord's day, Mary Magdalen, a disciple of the Lord, fearing because of the Jews, since they were burning with wrath, had not done at the Lord's sepulcher the things which the women are wont to do for those that die and for those that are beloved by them--51 she took her friends with her and came to the sepulcher where he was.
52 And they feared lest the Jews should see them, and they said, Although on the day on which he was crucified we could not weep and lament, yet now let us do these things at his sepulchre.
53 But who shall roll away for us the stone that was laid at the door of the sepulchre, that we may enter in and sit by him and do the things that are due? 54 For the stone was great, and we fear lest some one see us. And if we cannot, yet if we but set at the door the things which we bring for a memorial of him, we will weep and lament, until we come unto our home.
55 And they went away and found the tomb opened, and coming near they looked in there; and they see there a certain young man sitting in the midst of the tomb, beautiful and clothed in a robe exceeding bright;
This last excerpt came from a Gospel that was thrown out by the early church....The Gospel According to PETER!!!!
Now why do you suppose that "The Church" would dump the version of "The gospel" written by the one disciple whose teachings formed the very basis of the doctrine of the church. BECAUSE HE BELIEVED WOMEN WERE EQUALS!
Just to put the final nail in the coffin so to speak...One other thing of note a couple of verses later...
59 But we, the twelve disciples of the Lord, mourned and were grieved: and each one, being grieved for that which was come to pass, departed to his home... how can this be? Judas had already hung himself right? Ah yes... There is the rub... there should only be 11 disciples left!
WRONG AGAIN!!!!! MARY WAS THE 12th DISCIPLE!!!! That is IF you believe "Saint" Peter.
So the question remains...Religion Fact or Fiction?
The answer is of course....BOTH! The fact lies in the Holy Scriptures (ALL OF THE HOLY SCRIPTURES!!!)...the Fiction lies in what was removed and what "Religion" has become.
So I say BELIEVE!!! but use your own eyes, not what someone tells you. Read the "Lost books of the Bible" for yourself. Then make up your own mind. Follow the link below...open your eyes... Your Church has been lying to you!!!! Slowing turning up the heat under the pot trying to boil all us Frogs. Time to get the hell out of the pot, before it's too late.

Chapter 5
1) But they were grieved. They wept greatly, saying, How shall we go to the Gentiles and preach the gospel of the Kingdom of the Son of Man? If they did not spare Him, how will they spare us?2) Then Mary stood up, greeted them all, and said to her brethren, Do not weep and do not grieve nor be irresolute, for His grace will be entirely with you and will protect you.3) But rather, let us praise His greatness, for He has prepared us and made us into Men.4) When Mary said this, she turned their hearts to the Good, and they began to discuss the words of the Savior.5) Peter said to Mary, Sister we know that the Savior loved you more than the rest of woman.6) Tell us the words of the Savior which you remember which you know, but we do not, nor have we heard them. 7) Mary answered and said, What is hidden from you I will proclaim to you.8) And she began to speak to them these words: I, she said, I saw the Lord in a vision and I said to Him, Lord I saw you today in a vision. He answered and said to me,9) Blessed are you that you did not waver at the sight of Me. For where the mind is there is the treasure.10) I said to Him, Lord, how does he who sees the vision see it, through the soul or through the spirit?11) The Savior answered and said, He does not see through the soul nor through the spirit, but the mind that is between the two that is what sees the vision and it is [...]
