End of the world: What can we do about it?

WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT THE "END TIMES" THAT WE LIVE IN RIGHT NOW? You said you would tell us what we could do about all this doom and gloom you have been spouting. Well what can we do!!




I am sooooo glad you asked, because I have a few ideas. Read on and learn my friend.

Let me first start by saying, all of what is about to take place has been predicted and prophesied about by countless sources throughout history. Nothing in the next 7 years is a mystery...accept one thing...Will those who believe in Christ and been "Born... No wait!!! I hate the term "Born Again" it calls up images of women in neck high dresses in pastel colors and bonnets, beating everyone over the head with the Bible. So for lack of a better term, I will just say Christians. What I am about to discuss is not just for Christians but for ALL mankind and I don't want someone refusing to read it just because it uses the wrong terms. This is too important. Having said that, because I am a Christian and this is about what I think and not what others teach it may piss off a few people, Christians included.
Okay, but what do you mean, if Christian will be here? We are all living on the same planet.
That is true for now, but not necessarily for the next 7 years. There are 3 schools of thought in the Judeo-Christian world. Pre-Trib, Mid-Trib, and Post-Trib.
WTF does that mean? I've never heard about this.
It all has to do with when God will collect Christians from the planet in the last days. As I've talked about before, it is my belief that we are about to enter a time that the Bible refers to as the "Tribulation". A 7 year period filled with Gods wrath and anger at mans rejection of Him, followed by his judgement of ALL mankind and the set up of Jesus as King of Kings here on Earth. Now, here is the funny part, no one can agree on when God is going to pick us up.

I know right! So you have actual fights over this. But here is the deal...are you ready...IT DOESN'T MATTER!!!
"Pre-Tribulation" says that God will spare his church the indignation and suffering of the Tribulation and "catch them up" before it all begins. If this is true (my beliefs lean this way) then sometime before the proverbial shit hits the fan, Christians who have died will be picked up first, followed by the living Christians. This event will be followed by a massive world wide earthquake that will kick things off. So for Christians living today, we don't have much time left on this planet so I will say my goodbye's now.

"Mid-Tribulation" teaches that Christians will be left to see the first half, 3 1/2 years, of the tribulation and will not be picked up until the leader of the "One-World" government aka "New World Order" reveals himself to be evil incarnate.
Wait Wait Wait! There is no way the United States of America is going to put up with one guy dictating the entire planet!
RIGHT AGAIN! Give the kid a lollypop! The United States of America must first cease to exist if what is prophesied in the Bible is going to come true. And since the Bible has NEVER been wrong in its prophecy, I guess that means we are out of luck.
The current population of the planet is about 7 Billion people. a figure that is IMPOSSIBLE for one man to control, no matter how powerful he is. The U.S. accounts for almost 313 Million of the most independent, stubborn, non-subservient people on the planet, so it has to go. Besides, we're well armed, even as individuals, and that just won't do.
In order for the "One World" government to take power as the Bible says they will, the planetary population needs to be reduced to a more manageable level. If you discount all of the Christians being removed at the beginning, then there has to be another way, either nuclear war, or a massive earthquake, alien abduction, or something.... How about an asteroid or comet strike on the Earth? In all of the verses and books of the Bible, not once is the "new world" mentioned, even in symbolism or allegory. Even China and Russia are mentioned, so you can't say "they didn't know about the western world." Because most people back then didn't know about them either. Shoot, most people believed that Rome ruled the ENTIRE world, and there was nothing left. There are some scholars who believe the E.U. is even mentioned in the Bible, and NO ONE knew about the European Union even 50 years ago.
So now here is the problem, if the church will still be around until 1/2 way through the Tribulation, then we are "In the know" and will actively fight against the rise of the One World Government, because we know it is lead by evil incarnate. And since the U.S. has one of the largest Christian populations, it cannot be left with any kind of real power. In fact, if you eliminate the western hemisphere and all of the U.S. allies, you kill two birds with one disaster/war. All that is left are a few scattered Christians and the rest of the world. A much more controllable size. So I guess I'll say my goodbye's now.

So far we have learned, that if the "Pre-Tribulation" theory is true, Christians won't be around for the worst of the problems to come. So become a Christian, sit back and relax and don't worry about it. If there is a "Mid-Tribulation" removal of the Christians that survive the next 3 1/2 years then just survive long enough or be part of the group of people that are "in the way" of the One World Government and get killed off.
The third, and I might add most distasteful, belief is that there will be NO "gathering up" of the church and everyone, Christians included, will be around for the nightmares to come. 
So if everyone will be around, what do we do? That's my biggest fear. What if you're wrong and I have to live through the Tribulation?
So, you want to know what life will be like during the Tribulation and how to survive. Alright, I'll tell you... YOU DON'T SURVIVE! That is, unless you join up with the evil that will rule this world. Then, you get to live for another 7 years, then your dead and condemned to eternal torture. Not worth 7 years if you ask me.
But what will it be like? I don't want to die!!! I need information!!!!!
Alright, alright, I'll tell you what to expect, but I don't have room here. I'll write about life during the Tribulation in my next entry, and I'll try to put it into modern terms and settings.
