Life during the Tribulation

 

BIG BROTHER!!!! (Cue dramatic music...DUM DUM DUUUUMM) George Orwell, one of my all time favorite authors got it right...he was just a few years off. Not 1984 but 2014. The images and creepiness depicted in that classic novel, have left many people either waking up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night. Or denying at the top of their lungs, "THAT COULD NEVER HAPPEN!!!" Denial is the river we prefer to swim in after all. Let me take you on an Orwellian journey that not only could happen, but IS HAPPENING even as you are reading this. If you thought 1984 was scary, you ain't seen nothin' yet!

Friday, September 30th, 2011, 7 days after peace was declared in the Middle East, and the sun is shining through the skylight. HEY! The sun is shining!!! WOO HOO!!!! Three of the strangest days of total eclipse anyone has ever seen, one huge earthquake and the strangest sound, almost like the blast of a giant trumpet. Now, the sun is shining and all seems quiet. You stretch luxuriously in bed, glad to be alive, even if you still don't have electricity. You think to yourself, "I made it through hell. I just wish I could listen to the radio." That went out in the first couple of hours of daylight darkness. Right after the Prime Minister had said something about tectonic shifts and solar flares and remaining calm, you weren't really listening to him anyway. Then a sound begins to reach you...it starts out as kind of a rumble that you can feel more then hear. At first you think, another earthquake! You grip the edge of the bed, preparing for the shaking to start. But it never comes, instead the rumble gets louder and becomes more sound then vibration. You notice it has kind of a squeak to it, you know you have heard it before but you can't quite place it. Then as you sit there and listen you realize where you heard it before, it's a sound from the American movie "Saving Private Ryan". It's the sound a tank makes.

Leaping out of bed, you rush to the window, then remember it's boarded up. So you run down stairs and out what's left of the mangled front door. Squinting in the bright sunlight, you shade your eyes and peer down the street. 

At first you can't quite make out what is there through the morning sun. Then as your eyes adjust, and you see them. Soldiers, hundreds of them, walking on either side of huge tanks. Your heart leaps! We're saved!!!! As they draw closer, you notice something odd. Several soldiers have on a different style of uniform. You look a little closer, the uniforms are all different, and so are the faces. You don't recognize most of them, but a small handful look Russian!? In addition not one of them are British Royal Army. Then you notice, the one thing that is identical on ALL of them, each and every one has a blue cover on their helmet and a blue arm band. U.N. What are United Nations troops doing marching with tanks down the road in Canterbury England? Where are all of the Constables? 

Finally as the first soldier moves in front of your house, you ask him, "What's going on?" The soldier stiff arms you and you fall back on the ground with a jarring thud. You look up and notice that on his armband the letters aren't U.N. with the familiar olive branch covered globe logo. This says N.W.O. and they have an odd almost bar-code like symbol. "What in the hell is going on here?" The next soldier in line, points towards your house and is angrily yelling something in what sounds like an Arab language. You can't understand the words, but the message is clear. Get the hell inside your house! You pick yourself off of the sidewalk and start trudging back up the drive. From your right, a soldier comes running up to your house and spray paints a big yellow circle on your door. "Hey! What the hell are you doing?" you yell, frustrated and confused. "This is for your protection as other troops move through the area. That is your identification color. Someone will be by to explain everything soon." With that, the soldier jogs back to his unit and moves on up the street. 

Glancing in the direction the soldiers came from, you realize that all of the doors have been marked, the fresh paint running down the doors in careless drips. In the other direction, the soldiers run up to each house, glance at a clipboard then paint a mark. Most of the doors have black X's but one or two have the yellow circle. Then you notice one with a red triangle. Several soldiers are milling around the front yard, the door is splintered and slightly ajar. Out of nowhere a muffled pop sounds from inside the house with the red triangle. Several seconds pass and no one is reacting. Then, two soldiers walk out, one of them putting a pistol back in the holster at his hip.

A loud voice starts talking from inside your own home, making you jump out of your skin. It sounds as if it starts in the middle of their sentence, "... your nearest processing center with your identification. Let me say that again..." You breathe a sigh of relief as you realize it's just the radio. The power must have just been restored. Finally now, you can get some information.

Sounds like a bad movie doesn't it?

Yes, what is this all about, I thought you were going to tell us about life during the "Tribulation" and how to survive.

I am, you have just witnessed what it might be like to wake up on the 7th day of the 7 year "tribulation" of mankind. I would love to write out the entire 7 years in a novel format like that. I'm just not that good, so I will leave that to the professionals like Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins.

Anyway, back to what life will be like. You noticed that I set the story in England, that is because, as I said in my previous entry, the United States will no longer exist. At some point, shortly after or right before the start of the Tribulation the U.S. will need to be destroyed, either by natural or man made disaster. There may be some remnant left, but they will be completely controlled by marshal law or crushed into barbarism, so that there is little to nothing left. I can go into the fate of the U.S. in more detail another time, and it might just scare you how "ready" we are. 

Next, notice how the troops used are a multinational force wearing  the initials N.W.O. For those that have never heard this term before let me explain. N.W.O. is not some wrestling group as you may have been led to believe. It stands for New World Order, a way of life envisioned, ironically enough, by former American President George Herbert Walker Bush.

Kinda scary isn't it? Now most Americans believe that he was talking about a peaceful utopia in which the UN worked the way it is suppose to. The reality is something far more sinister. What Bush senior was doing, was paving the way for the totalitarian one world government of the Tribulation. 

As I have explained in previous posts, in order to have a single individual running the world, you have to get the population down to a controllable level. Now a "Pre-Trib" gathering up of Gods church (the trumpet sound in our story) would go a long way towards this goal. There just aren't enough Christians in the world to make that much of a reduction. Take a couple of hundred million Christians away from the planet, that still leaves 6.8 billion people to deal with. You need something else, something that will scare the ENTIRE population of the planet (or what's left of it) into giving up their sovereignty and their freedoms to one man from another country. 

Imagine if you will... the Chinese government, in charge of almost 1.5 billion people, very few I might add, disappeared with the Christians. Now some knucklehead from the U.N. wants me to give up my country to their control, including my military. BUAH HA HA HA HA HA! Not a snowballs chance in HELL!

And, they would be right, with the destruction of the U.S. China just became the most powerful nation on the planet. If anything, the U.N. and the rest of the world better learn to eat with chopsticks and speak Mandarin. So the loss of hundreds of millions and the destruction of the U.S. wouldn't be enough. God, in his infinite wisdom, took care of that. First by allowing the N.W.O. to gain support now, so that the governments of the world will already be well on the way to acceptance. Second, by something that is described in the book of the Revelation of John. What I am about to tell you is somewhat controversial within the Christin community. The book of Revelation is very clear, about a lot of things regarding the Tribulation. What it isn't clear about is some of the timing of the judgements of God. Each judgement is described as either a seal on a scroll being broken (7 seals), a trumpet being blown (7 trumpets) or a vial / bowl being poured out (7 Bowl judgements).

Some people believe that all of these judgements will be meted out during the 7 years of Tribulation. I say they are WRONG!

What!? How can they be wrong? Aren't they the experts?

Yep, they are experts alright. But as I have said before, this is MY opinion. Could I be wrong? Sure. But I will show you why I believe the way I do and let you be the judge.

The first 7 judgements of man are the 7 seals. In Johns vision (BTW he wrote Revelation while exiled on the island of  Patmos for preach the word of God) when he first is brought to heaven, after a quick cleansing, he is shown a scroll (book) that has 7 seals keeping it closed. He quickly learns that Jesus is the only one qualified to open these seals. As He opens each seal something happens to the people of Earth. Prior to the opening of the seals, nothing of any consequence has taken place. Each seal is then opened and I will describe each one and why I believe that the first 5 have already been opened.

1st Seal: Revelation 6:1&2

¹And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
 ²And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. (The rider of the white horse represents Satan and it is said in this verse that he is sent out to concur. How many countries, churches, and individuals have already made sinful living the "Norm". The other day America just told the world, it's Okay to be a homosexual, simply by allowing our soldiers to say "Hey look I'm Gay!". Don't get me started on abortion and every other "alternative" lifestyle that people now believe is acceptable.)
You can't say that!! It's a hate crime!!!
Wrong it's my opinion! I know the thought police will be pissed, but I won't be around long enough for them to get me.
2nd Seal: Revelation 6:3&4
 ³And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
 ⁴And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.(How many wars have there been in the past 100 years. I would say peace has been taken from us.)
3rd Seal: Revelation 6:5&6
⁵When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come out!" Then I saw a black horse, and its rider had a balance scale in one hand. ⁶I heard what sounded like a voice from somewhere among the four living creatures. It said, "A quart of wheat will cost you a whole day's wages! Three quarts of barley will cost you a day's wages too. But don't ruin the olive oil or the wine." (Obviously this is referring to famine and how the prices of food would go sky high. I recently paid $4.95 for a loaf of bread, how many years back do you suppose you would have to go for that to be a days wage?)
4th Seal: Revelation 6:7&8
⁷When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come out!" ⁸Then I saw a pale green horse. Its rider was named Death, and Death's Kingdom followed behind. They were given power over one fourth of the earth, and they could kill its people with swords, famines, diseases, and wild animals. (I don't have to go very far into a Google search to see that these things have been increasing exponentially in the past few years)
5th Seal: Revelation 6:9-11
⁹And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
 ¹⁰And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
 ¹¹And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. (This is where God promises that he will not mete out his FINAL judgement on man until AFTER the Tribulation. So we know that these judgements are not taking place at the end, but BEFORE the other judgements.)
Now here it is, the thing that is going to tip the scale and reduce the population enough and scare people enough that they will WELCOME someone as the supreme ruler of the world. Because he will claim to be able to protect and save everyone that is left.
6th Seal: Revelation 6:12-15:
¹²And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
 ¹³And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
 ¹⁴And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
 ¹⁵And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains. (In my opinion, this is going to take place immediately after Christ gathers up his church.)
OH and by the way did you know that huge numbers of the worlds leaders in politics, business, and royalty are taking the week of the 25th OFF? Hmmmmm? Makes you wonder if they know something we don't.

But I digress. So now you have a world in ruins, huge numbers of people are dead or "Missing" (Count me in!) and the New World Order, is already prepared to help. They have food and supplies and a military and the agreement of all the remaining (mostly non-Christian I might add) nations. This NWO then has to have a "President" so one person steps up to lead. With all of the chaos and damage and dead bodies around, someone needs to clean up. Well then you have to pay them to do it right? How are you going to do that on a global scale? You restore the internet and start using electronic banking technologies that are already in place. But which currency do you use? The dollar? The Euro? The Yen? Nope, these are all worthless paper anyway so you make a new one. A cashless one, because you learned your lesson when all the banks fell over or burned up, or were looted. Well, now you have to issue a method of transferring money between people and the government. What do you use? Credit cards? No way! Again you take lessons from the past, identity theft ran rampant before all hell broke loose. So you come up with a "theft proof" way of identifying everyone and transferring funds between people.
Oh here it comes! The "Mark of the beast" 666 tattooed on your forehead or hand. Give me a break, the supermodels alone would stage a coup.
Oh please! Let's not be barbaric here, this is still the 21st century. No one has to run around with a big ugly tattoo. Besides it's to easily faked. No, we need something less conspicuous to appeal to human vanity. How about a subcutaneous transponder?
What the hell is that?
A device first envisioned by Gene Roddenberry in 1967 for the Star Trek television series. Specifically the episode "Patterns of Force".
Alright Geek, what are you babbling about?
Although it started out as Science fiction, a subcutaneous transponder is now fact and is in use every day. Perhaps you know it under it's commercial name? RFID chip. All pets you get from the pound now have one. It is a small chip, the size of a grain of rice that is injected just under the skin. (Don't worry, if you're a hand model they will put it above your hairline on your forehead.) It transmits a radio signal that can be read by the proper machine. Right now they are used to transmit a number, which when plugged into a computer, identifies the dog or cat and the owner. I have a previous entry if you would like more details.
Subcutaneous Transponder
So, you now have a global society, free of theft and all other illegal activities, where everyone earns their wages doing things that need to be done to restore a planet that has lost huge numbers of people (and BTW  everyone has a lot more room). Sounds wonderful doesn't it? It is wonderful, as long as you cooperate and follow along peacefully. With one small exception, there are still 15 more judgements, each one more and more brutal then the last.
You have said that before, but what do you mean?
Because of limited time and space I will run through them quickly as a list. Remember, you will only suffer these if you take the mark/chip.
7th Seal: Half hour of silence in heaven. Imagine having no sound, no wind, no birds, as if the entire world is holding it's breath for 1/2 hour.
First an angel throws a large container of fire down to earth that causes thunders and lightnings and an earthquake. (asteroid or comet impact seems the most likely)
1st Trumpet: Hail and fire from heaven mixed with blood that destroys 1/3 of the trees and all of the grass. (all of mans satellites, or maybe meteorites? Mixed with blood, could be the astronauts from the International Space Station. Doesn't really matter what it is.)
2nd Trumpet: A Mountain burning with fire falls into the sea and kills 1/3 of the fish and destroys 1/3 of all shipping and turns 1/3 of the waters to blood. (Another asteroid?)
3rd Trumpet: A great star falls from heaven named "Wormwood" this contaminates 1/3 of the rivers and lakes poisoning all who drink it. (Did you know that comets contain huge quantities of  hydrogen cyanide, it's what makes them look blue, or maybe this is nuclear fallout? I don't thing I want to know.)
4th Trumpet: The light of the sun, moon, and stars are reduced by 1/3 so that night and day show no light for 1/3 of their time. (Don't ask me, God is the only one that can pull that off. Maybe you have a guess.)
5th Trumpet: A "Star" (angel) comes down to earth and opens the pits of hell and lets loose these locusts that are told not to eat the plants but just to hurt people. They have stings in their tails like a scorpion, that can cause pain that lasts for 5 months. The victims will wish for death but it will not come. (Now here is the rub, are these actual locusts or is this a man from 2000 years ago attempting to describe what he sees in terms he understands. Personally, because these verses begin with symbolism {the term "star" is used in place of angel}, and because of the description of these things, I think it's helicopters set up with non-lethal weapons for crowd control.)

Either way, these things are bad news.
6th Trumpet: 4 Angels are released from the river Euphrates with 4 armies numbering Two Hundred Thousand Thousand (200 million). (These are real armies not symbolic ones, Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia all lie within the basin of this river.) These 4 armies kill 1/3 of the worlds population. (oh and BTW the description of the weapons they use are described as fire and smoke and sulfur. Pretty accurate description of  modern gunpowder based weapons if you ask me. Considering this was almost 2000 years ago.)

Something very odd happens at this point, John sees an angel that has feet of fire and a face like the sun, clothed in clouds with a rainbow above his head. This angel is so large that when it lands on Earth one of its feet sets down on land and the other in the sea. Now here comes the strange part, this angel speaks with the "voice of a lion"  and there are 7 peels of thunder. After the angel speaks, John is told not to write down what is said. Afterwords, the angel raises his right hand to heaven and...
Revelation 10:6&7
⁶He made a promise in the name of God who lives forever and who created heaven, earth, the sea, and every living creature. The angel said, "You won't have to wait any longer. ⁷God told his secret plans to his servants the prophets, and it will all happen by the time the seventh angel sounds his trumpet."


 This is another of the places where timing comes into question isn't it?
See you're catching on, The angel said everything will be done by the time the 7th angel sounds his trumpet, but in addition to the 7th trumpet, there are still the "Bowl judgements" plus a few other things. So based on the really odd actions of the giant angel we now know that there is another gap between the trumpets. This gap is believed to be anywhere from a few months to several years, depending on how long the previous trumpets took. But don't worry, during this gap there will still be plenty going on. First you have these two crazy Jewish guys that have been standing in Jerusalem for 3 1/2 years preaching about Jesus. These guys are serious too! People have tried over and over to kill these guys and nothing seems to hurt them. In fact, everyone that tries, gets killed by their own bullets or are burned to death by fire shooting out of the mouths of these guys. Oh, and did I mention, they can call down any of the plagues from the Bible on any person, group or NATION, that pisses them off? And I guess a lot of people did that because there are plagues everywhere. Finally the "leader of the world" himself kills these guys, but you know what they don't stay dead. Their dead bodies lay there on the street for 3 days where they are shown on CNN and everyone watches. There are parties everywhere because these guys really messed with people. Then on the third day, while the entire world watches, and seriously loud voice comes from the sky and says, "Get up here!" These two dead dudes, take a deep breath, get up off the ground, and go flying off into the air. EVERYONE sees it so it's not like the UFO abductions you hear about on some back road. These guys get "beamed up" in front of the entire world. Then guess what, another earthquake, this one destroys 10% of Jerusalem and kills 7,000 people.
7th Trumpet: Now the seventh angel blows his trumpet and everyone cheers and the time is at hand for the judgement of the world.
Wait I'm confused! What about the seven bowls?
The Bible isn't clear on this point, after the last trumpet sounds, we switch to other visions. Visions about the beginning of the Tribulation, the rise to power of the One World Leader, the required mark.  We even see a reference to a "great sign in the heavens" of a woman who is clothed in the sun, and the moon is under her feet, and she has a crown of 12 stars upon her head. Most biblical scholars think that the next few chapters are allegory and the woman represents Israel, which with some of the things she does, this could be absolutely true. But there is a recent discovery that says this may also be a description of the constellation Virgo. The description fits to the positioning of the sun moon and stars in an alignment on September 29th of this year. Some people feel that this is indicting when the Tribulation will begin. Honestly, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the Lord meant for it to be both. Here is a little video, the guy narrating has a heavy accent, but you will get the gist. Also, I'm not sure about his interpretation of the "birth", but it shows what I needed without being overly long.
 

 

  All of these images paint a picture that is undeniably some of the most terrifying of all time. People killed for their belief in God, a totalitarian government that dictates every aspect of your life. Then the leader breaks a peace treaty with Israel (maybe one that is being worked on as you read this) and reveals himself to be in league with Satan. He proclaims himself god and insists that everyone worship him. If you don't, you die! End of discussion. 

Whew! Sounds miserable doesn't it. Don't worry, after 7 years God will take his revenge for all of the evil ever done to his people. And here's how.

So, the world has been ruled by evil for 7 years, during this time, many many people, especially Israel, have come to believe that Jesus was the messiah and he died for our sins. Unfortunately they are stuck here, unable to buy food or clothes or anything. By this time they are relentlessly hunted down and killed for their beliefs. Remember Gods promise ( 5th Seal) to take his revenge, once ALL of the people who were going to be killed for their belief in Him had been killed? Well guess what, the time has come. So (in my opinion) AS THE FINAL TRUMPET SOUNDS, God orders his angels to pour out the seven bowl judgements on man.

Revelation 16:2-12

1st Bowl: ² The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly, festering sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. (Pretty self explanatory, sounds seriously miserable) 
2nd Bowl: ³ The second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a dead person, and every living thing in the sea died. (So much for Lobster dinners)
3rd Bowl: ⁴ The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. (All fresh water is now gone from the planet, this is one of the reasons I believe that the bowls are poured out very quickly at the end. During the final trump.) ⁵ Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say:
   “You are just in these judgments, O Holy One,
   you who are and who were;
⁶ for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets,
   and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve.”
 ⁷ And I heard the altar respond:
   “Yes, Lord God Almighty,
   true and just are your judgments.”
4th Bowl: ⁸ The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire. ⁹ They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.(Scientists will probably blame this on a hole in the ozone layer)
5th Bowl: ¹⁰ The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in agony ¹¹ and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done. (Complete blackness and lack of sight.)
6th Bowl: ¹² The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East. ¹³ Then I saw three impure spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. ¹⁴ They are demonic spirits that perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty. 



Now comes the "Final Battle" of good vs. evil. This battle will be unlike anything that has ever come before. D-Day will look like a beach party compared to this. EVERY army in the world will come together in one place, all under command of Satan (the dragon) the One World Leader (the beast) and the false prophet (the head of the all encompassing church that worships the "Beast and the Dragon"). They will gather in a small valley in Israel, perhaps you have heard of it, the Valley of Jehoshaphat. No? Maybe it's other name, the valley of Megiddo? Still doesn't ring a bell? Well, perhaps you know it's name in Hebrew, Armageddon?
I thought that "Armageddon" was what people called the "End of the World". Now you say it's a place?
Yep, it is actually "Har-Magedon" or Valley of Decision. Below is a picture and map so that you can get a feel for where this place is located.

What a beautiful place. Hard to believe that the Final Battle will take place here. Yet, not so hard to believe when you put it into context with today's political climate in that area.

Revelation 16:17-21
¹⁷ The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, “It is done!” ¹⁸ Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since mankind has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. ¹⁹ The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath. ²⁰ Every island fled away and the mountains could not be found. ²¹ From the sky huge hailstones, each weighing about a hundred pounds, fell on people. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible. (Wow! another earthquake, this one larger than ANY of the others. This one, large enough to flatten out ALL of the land in the world. Not one mountain left standing.)
 Okay, so now everyone is dead right? There is no way anyone could survive all of this.
You are absolutely right. Fortunately Jesus, when talking to his disciples about these things, made a promise. 

Matthew 24:22
²² “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened."
I'm confused, so then it won't be seven years? 
Actually, I choose to accept this promise on it's face. I believe that the days will no longer be 24 hours long. Not that God needs physics, but these large quakes we have had recently, Chile, Christchurch, Japan, have actually shortened the length of the day.

Pretty interesting if you ask me. I always love that guy, it's like having a live version of "An Idiots Guide to All Things Science" or "Earthquakes for Dummies." Just classic!
Sorry, I digress...Again. So anyways, now the Earth has been beaten almost to death, and all of the armies of man are prepared for the battle of Armageddon. What's next? Well first, God spends the next few chapters describing the rise and fall of "Babylon" and the time leading up to the end. Because there are literally hundreds of interpretations of these visions, I will just say, read Revelation Chapter 17, 18, and 19. Do this with an open heart and a prayer for wisdom, and interpret the meaning yourself. It is absolutely fascinating, but it would take an entire blog devoted just to those chapters, just to do it justice.
So I will skip ahead to the final battle.
Revelation 19:11-21
¹¹ I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. ¹² His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. ¹³ He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. ¹⁴ The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. ¹⁵ Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the wine-press of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. ¹⁶ On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
   KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
 ¹⁷ And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God, ¹⁸ so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and the mighty, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, great and small.”
 ¹⁹ Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army. ²⁰ But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. ²¹ The rest were killed with the sword coming out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh. (Basically, Jesus {Rider on the horse} comes riding down from heaven with his armies. These are made up of everyone who has ever been killed for their belief in God. But Jesus doesn't need their help, really. With one word {the sword from His mouth}, He kills every last person and animal in the armies of the world.)

At this point, Christ binds Satan for 1,000 years while He and His saints rule the world. At the end of that 1,000 year reign (the Millennial Kingdom), Satan is let out and he gathers another army by lying to the people of the world. As he surrounds Christs kingdom, fire and stones fall from heaven and wipe out Satan's entire army. Satan is then cast into the same pit of fire that the "beast" and "false prophet" are already in.
I don't understand, why not throw him in when Jesus takes care of the "beast"? 
Very simply, there are still 1,000 years of people to be born, that have to chose between God and Satan. Remember, God gives us free will so that we will choose him freely. He want's all to come to Him through His son. We can't do that if we are born during the reign of Christ and we don't have any other options. Remember, God doesn't want mindless automatons following Him because He is the only option. At the end of that 1,000 years each person must choose. Just like right now, before the Tribulation, we have a choice. To believe that God has sent his son, Jesus, to die for our sins. Or not. Plain and simple, black or white, believe or not. If you chose not to believe now, you will be given another chance after I am gone. During the Tribulation the choice will be even clearer, take the mark and follow Satan (and suffer the trumpet and bowl judgements), or don't take the mark and follow Christ (and suffer the persecution and likely death by Satan and his followers). I don't think I would wait. Because either way, if you say to yourself, "I don't need to decide today. The world isn't going to end tomorrow." You might be wrong and I might be right. Could I be wrong about the timing? ABSOLUTELY! I don't know Gods mind. However, he put these signs here to warn those who will listen, that he is coming soon. Are you willing to risk the suffering to come if I am right? If not, say this prayer with me and believe it in your heart.

"Dear God in heaven, I believe you sent your son Jesus to die for me on the cross. Please come into my heart and be part of my life. I give myself over to you Lord. In Jesus name, Amen."

If you prayed that prayer with me, I believe you have been born again. Get into a good Bible Study group or Bible based church and follow and learn what to do next.

If you didn't, and you are going to ignore my advice, I will pray for you. And maybe, just maybe, when the government tells you that all of the Christians were vaporized by a giant solar flare, or were abducted by aliens, or whatever excuse they can come up with, YOU WILL KNOW THE TRUTH!
